Just wondering where this little warm snap is starting to actually move some water into the bigger streams and creeks.

How about it, anyone seeing water actually moving through the countryside yet?

We've got water moving into our creeks out by meadowbook in the Minot area. Lots of thawing the last two days. The whole hillside is nearly brown across the coulee. I had forgotten what grass looked like!

Whats the situation in the Bis area?

our location SW of watford is starting to look like a lake. The temp and wind has cut about 5 inches of compacted snow already. Looks like a foot or better of the soft stuff in the pastures. We need more cold. I am not done ice fishing yet!

When you get some IM me, please. If you are not far from Bismarck, I would like to get some with you. I have never gotten them myself and I would like to learn.

I think I might post a "how to" video when I start catching them in the next month or two since so many people have so many questions about how, when, and where to catch them, and how to keep them.

Taylor, WHERE on the Red?

Good stuff guys.  Keep it coming as I am always interested in water.

I would really prefer to see it get cold again come Tues to turn off the melt, but these few days of warm temps are really good news if it can get some water into the streams and on its way to SD or Canada!
