Any luck with turkeys?

I'm not having real good luck this year.  Unresponsive birds, has been the quietest spring I can remember so far.  Did have a large group come the other night, but still yet to bag a bird.

One BBD so far. Time to go get GOBZILLA II now. Hope the 28 ga is up to the task!

I had some marginal luck last week. I was hoping for a good longbeard, but settled on a Jake. Didn't have all the time I wanted this springt because of other commitments, so I dusted a decent Jake after he came in running to my calling. Better than eating tag soup.

Shot a skinny tom with the 28 on Sunday Morning -last day of season. nice 10.5 inch beard with a small 4 incher above it. Son shot a nice tom as well a little later.
