Photo Description:
This is a picture of a mule deer and whitetail I finished up earlier this week. First time trying this new technique. Thanks to all the guys on here that helped me get a better idea of mounting these. Did a total of 4 of these plaques and 4 euro mounts. I think they turned out pretty good for a rookie.  Heh....

Grizz, what do you mean by blocks?  Do you mean the form that goes around the antlers?

Gotcha. I actually used plaster of paris and molded them myself and then used a large file and rasp to form them to my liking.  Prior to that I screwed the antlers into 1/2inch thick plywood (The oval shape), then plastered them, stapled the microfiber on tight and wrapped it around back of the plywood, hot glue gunned the rope around the other parts and then screwed it onto the plaque.

Thanks Snow.  The Mulie on the left is actually mine. The others were friends I was hunting with and the whitetail on the right is my Uncles.

I did a few last year and they were okay looking. Decided to hit up some guys on here ane ovhunter and outdoors26 offered me great advice and I took it from there. They wanted to see the final products so I posted em up. I kinda like the brown color on the plaque too.

I'll PM you info about sota-pop.
