Almost there!!

After more than 4 months of being over flood stage the Mouse River is still 2ft over flood stage in the Towner area.Alot of roads and miles and miles of fences damaged.The fishing has slowed down,will be hitting spots where the water starts going back into the river

Finally below flood stage!!After about 5 months of flooding and spring is only 5 months away!!

     The river is behind me,this water has to drain back into it yet!!

Been fishing a few spots where the water is running back into the river,No walleyes but lots on northerns,for some reason there are alot and i mean alot of fish this size in the river.Everybody is catchng them up and down the river!

Well we are back above flood stage here in the  towner area,are they letting more water out of Lake darling???Cant blame the rain on this rise!!Maybe i will be ice fishing on ALL the Still flooded hay fields and crop land!!Its all about Minot!!

arent the pea's doing one in Towner also?

That ditch fishing must be kinda like shooting a deer over a corn pile, huh?

Also out driving around to some of my old hot spots for grouse,a lot of township roads are still under water.. This is not from river flooding but high water table??Have had to turn around a few times because of water over the road.Never in over 30 years have I've seen this many roads underwater!!All kinds of strange looking birds out in the flooded fields eating little fish and whatever else is out there,trying to get some pictures.Minot will flood again next spring!!
