I haven't heard any reports from the Turtle mts since ice out.  Nothing from Metagoshi, or Carpenter, School section, - - -  What gives?  Did you guys all fall through the ice this spring or what?  Haven't even heard if the skeeters are biting?

Dang, I was anticipating something like "Border Patrol busts 500 illegal aliens" or something like that.

Yaks:   Caught a nice walleye out at Gordon on sat. Weather was terrible.(45 degrees, sleet  w/ a 20 mile wind ) Water temps are only around 48. Things should start picking up as the weather warms up. Talked  to a few guys that have been @ Carpenter and they been doing good on northerns w/ smelt or daredevils. Pretty much all the guys I fish with have been going to Lake Irwin south of Cando. No problem bringing home a limit of 2 to 3 lb eyes from the shore.
