Photo Description:
We tracked these bulls into the scrub acacia and spotted them laying down about 60 yards away. We thought 7 bulls in all. The wind was in our favor but a herd of zebra downwind caught our scent and scared the bulls up. Not knowing what they were running from they ran about 60 yards only to turn and look at their back trail. We spotted this nice bull (among what turned out to be 20 or more buffalo) looking straight at us and quickly determined he was a shooter. As he stood holding his head high and staring us down I sent a 300gr triple shock his way splitting him dead center above the briscuit. He ran a bit under 100 yards and within a minute we heard the death bellow. This one shot buff made up for the last buff I lost. He has a very deep curl with sharp hooks and huge bosses. A dandy for sure that i'm very proud of.Tags: bull, nice, bachelor, bulls, yards, spotted, acacia, tracked, scrub, thought
