A hunters first

After about the 8th impala for bait we needed some camp meat. I decided it would be fun to try something different for a change and let Willie take to the sticks and i'd handle the video camera. After missing his first impala we found another herd and snuck in within shooting distance. Willie was very nervous but executed a well placed shot through the danger zone and it was all over. He was very proud to harvest his first impala and I was very happy to get it all on film. As we brought it back to camp and told the story all of the camp staff jokingly refused to believe that Willie was the provider of the camp meat. I happily showed them the film and he quickly became the camp hero with the staff. It was a very proud moment for him that I was honored to be a part of and witness.
