I am guessing it is the one in the photo gallery - "4 Legged Chainsaw".....

"When we step into the outdoors, we have the privilege of standing in the presence of God through the power and majesty of His creation. That makes hunting more than a sport or a hobby. It's a calling to something greater. And that transforms the places that we stand into something more than a cropfield or a pasture or a mountain. It makes that place Hallowed Ground."

Yeah the chainsaw was number 3.  Wow, cats galore.

I'm going to have to do something about it and get my butt out there and see if I'm the only one without any luck.

4th lion was 3-4 yr. old female taken in Killdeer Mountains by a bowhunter.

Was it stalking him?  I think that would be the ultimate rush.  I wish one would come into my tree stand someday.

Sorry,  been hunting for the past week.  Haven't been around a computer in awhile and  i couldn't waste any time when i was trying find the elk again after they moved on me.  Here's a pick of the cat where she laid after I shot her.  I was calling and glassing from a ridge overlooking the Killdeer WMA primitive area,  had a couple of cow elk and there calves in front of me so was paying pretty close attention where they were going hoping there would be a bull around....took my eyes off the ek when i heard some deer busting below me and about fifteen minutes later i pulled my eyes back to a ridgeline thinking i had seen some movement.  When my eyes skimmed that line i caught the tips of her ears....then her eyes.....my first thought was what the then it went to oh shoot....then came the shot,,,...she was about fifteen yards away facing me tail directly behind her head....drilled her in chest the long way.  she made it about 20 yards then fell the next 20 down the face of the bluff next to me.  Drug her by the tail out of the no vehicle access area 2 mies up and down hills and now her new home is my neighbors freezer til i get her skinned and fleshed......the biologist said i probably woke her up from a nap....i felt like i was gonna be lunch.....

Oh and from the tip of the tail to the nose she measered 75 inches.  My best guess on weight would have been 120-130.  Had to gut her to lighten the load.  Anyone seen any elk.
