3rd Annual "Catch for a Cure" Jan 21st-- Tobacco Gardens

Ice Fishing tournament held every year to raise money for the relay for life.
Rules meeting will be Friday (20th) at 7:00pm central time, tournament will be on saturday (21st) from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
The cafe is closed this year so make sure you bring your bait and supplies for the day. They will be grilling burger's on the ice again for lunch.

Did they just come up with the date? I first heard of it today as well kinda short notice.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

That sucks i hadnt seen or heard anything til I saw Rex's post on facebook then yours a few min later on here. Still gunna try to make it but it dosent look good so far, doin any prefishing?

I was out sunday morning until the wind came up. Had to try out the new HDS on the ice! I won't be able to go anymore before saturday... There are fish out there!

Contrary to popular belief the HDS doesn't make the fish bite or reel it in for me!!!

Call from the ice house, Lots of big draws to call out of and you can stay moving on fish.

Not many coyotes right around there, snares been taking care of them. Unless way back in bay but no fish way way back there. Just beavers or was beavers. Been taking care of them for Peggy and rex as well.

Parents might fish it outta our fish house.

Intellicast shows 36 now for a high and winds around 10mph. Might be a chilly morning but it'll warm up nicely, especially when the fish start biting!

Haha Thanks! He would say something like that! He did pull in the big northern at 8.5 pounds too! I managed the smallest fish... a 2oz walleye! We had a great time! Its a great tournament. Can't wait to fish it again next year!
