I have had this motor for nearly ten years and have never traded or worried about the stock prop. It seems small, very small. I have very slow response time when trolling and it is just sluggish in general.  Can anybody reccomend a great prop for a merc 15 hp four stroke kicker? I want it responsive and snappy between .75 and 3 mph

I switched to a 4 blade 5 pitch on my 8hp Nissan 4s.  I can troll slower, make quicker little bumps in speed when I need to adjust course, and the motor is silky smooth running.  Big improvement over the 3 blade 7p that came on it.  Solas has a good high thrust offering in the Amita series I think, that would be my recommendation.  Should be able to find a 5 or 7p pretty easy.

Down a pitch or 2, up 1 blade.

YES, I am that foolish!
