1 in 4 women can misread a pregancy test?

Has anyone seen this commercial? Does that mean 25% of women are idiots and cannot tell the difference between a plus and minus? I wonder who conducted the research and why all the Womens Rights organizations aren't calling for someones head?

Pretty sure they should pack a M18A1 in every package for those who cannot follow simple instructions of + you are pregnant and - you are not. Either that or a 100% taxpayer paid "fixing". If you can't read the test, you probably can't understand how to use birth control or understand the definition of abstinence.


I am probably being too hard on this subject but if people really weren't this stupid would it be cost effective for your marketing campaign to be "1 in 4 women misread pregnancy tests"????

The prob is that the preg test is trying to tell them something, never gunna work. The test is expect to be able to read the mind of the woman taking the test and then react accoordingly.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

Haven't seen the commercial but decided to google it to see what it was all about.

google evap lines and that may be one explanation or according to the google results, the user may not be following the directions - which wouldn't surprise me either.

You know, I kind of thought the same thing to.  Unfortunately, I think I may have actually dated a few of the 1 in 4 women.  Yikes.

Sounds like a perfect solution to pass over to the President.  He will "bail" them out and add to the defecit.

I agree, but man they are hard to get rid of.  I dropped one off 10 miles out of town and damn it if she didn't find her way back.  She thought I was taking her for a walk.

My wife wasn't in that category, but I believe she took about a dozen tests to make sure the tests were correct! Anyway she and the tests were right, and the first little outfitter will be here in July!

How can you expect someone in the US under the emotional stress of a potential pregnancy to suddenly recognize arabic symbols as a means of denoting pregnancy.  (grin)
